Ameris Bank announces Charles Hudgens as City President for the North Charleston and Summerville Areas

Marc J. Bogan, Regional Executive for Ameris Bank announced today that Charles Hudgens will assume the position as City President in the North Charleston and Summerville areas.

Bogan commented, "Charles was one of the first associates to join Ameris Bank as we began our growth initiative in SC, and his efforts have been instrumental in helping us achieve success over the last year and a half."

Charles is a native of Charleston and has spent a majority of his banking career working in the coastal market. He earned his B.A from The College of Charleston in 1997, and in 2000 he was awarded a M.B.A. from the Citadel. Charles has progressively taken on more challenging roles at Ameris Bank. He began his career there as a Personal Banker and worked his way into roles such as Private Client & Trust Officer and Branch Manager before his promotion to City President.
